One of my favorite questions to ask clients is how they warmed up for a specific event or training session without me. Most of the time, a person will say, "I jumped on the treadmill" or "I rode the bike" or my favorite (not!) "I just went for it." When the person notices the horrified look on my face there is usually a lengthy and awkward reasoning as to how the "warm-up" was chosen, followed by the final "well I can't remember what we do before our sessions." Hopefully, this post changes that! Here is a quick, easy, and effective warm-up to do either pre-training session or as a way to get the blood moving first thing in the morning.
